Ms. Mallory's Bio
Hello everyone, I am excited to work at the best school with the most dedicated staff, students and parents- Woodland Elementary! We are going to have a great year of growth, fun and challenges together. A little bit about me; this will be my 6th year teaching in Minnesota. I grew up in Wisconsin with two older brothers and parents who wish I lived closer. I am getting married this October to my best friend, his name is Mitch and we have a chocolate lab mix dog named Kirby. We love spending time with her taking long walks, playing fetch and lounging on the couch.
This is my first year at Woodland Elementary and fourth year in the Osseo district. The past three years I taught at Birch Grove Elementary. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and finished my teacher certification from Cardinal Stritch University. I received my k-12 reading license from Hamline University and am very passionate about all things teaching. One of my favorite things about teaching is hearing from students about their interests, hopes and things that they care about. My favorite book growing up was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, favorites subjects were reading, PE and art (I'm a teacher, how can you pick just one?) My elementary school days were some of my favorites which led me to where I am today. In 5th grade you could find me at one of my sports practices or events- soccer, swimming, dance, or track. I am looking forward to all that the 2019-2020 school year has in store for us! |
